Information Days on HealthVienna, November 2010 |

In cooperation with TermNet (the International Network for Terminology), the European-Chinese Society of Medical Communication (ECSMC) and with the support of the MA 17 (Vienna Municipal Department 17 - Integration and diversity) the Austrian Commission for UNSESCO organized the Health Information Days 2010 for migrants in Vienna. Medical doctors and experts from different health domains informed participants about relevant health issues and introduced the facilities of the Austrian / Viennese health system.
The Health Information Days 2010 were held on November 13th and November 14th and focused on Chinese, Turkish and Serbian migrants:
- On November 13th, the Austrian Commission for UNESCO organized the Health Information Day with the Serbian and Turkish communities at the Association of Viennese Youth Centre, Schlachthausgasse 30/7, 1030.

- On November 14th, in cooperation with the Association of European-Chinese Society of Medical Health Communication (ECSMC), the Austrian Commission for UNESCO organized the Health Information Day with the Chinese community at Schulschiff, Donauinselplatz 1, 1210 Vienna.
Furthermore, this event served as an informal platform for participants to seek advice on personal health problems as it also offered information and advice in various languages.
